Winter Wedding at Table Rock

2016 began with a bang, when I was honored to photograph a winter wedding at Table Rock State Park on the border of South Carolina and North Carolina. It was a small and intimate wedding with the sweetest couple, Emily and Kyle.

Emily’s colors perfectly accented the colors of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which served as their backdrop for the day.

Emily’s mother and mother in law looked lovely in their jewel toned gowns

All of the bridesmaids were eager to help with the preparation, and Emily’s silver sequined shoes were the perfect accent for her beaded wedding dress.

Table Rock Lodge’s stone staircase was the perfect location for bridal portraits before the wedding.

We found an unconventional location with lovely lighting for Emily’s detail shots

I can’t get enough of this rustic backdrop and her beautiful diamond engagement setting!

There’s nothing better to show off wedding rings than a great reflective surface.

We were so lucky to have beautiful light and a clear roadway for these photos of the bride and groom after they said “I Do”

The DIY decor and beautiful mirrors in Table Rock State Park Lodge were amazing for this intimate winter wedding.

Emily and Kyle, your love is so apparent, not only through your photos, but through the way you both treated each other on your wedding day. I wish many many years of love and happiness for you both!

  1. Melissa, these photos are spectacular! You could definitely win awards for some of them. Just beautiful! (Of course it doesn’t hurt having such a photogenic couple 🙂 !)
