Right before Christmas, I got to shoot a gorgeous downtown Greenville wedding at Huguenot Mill Loft, next to the Reedy River. It was a fabulous day with amazing vendors, but the photos tell the story better than I can!

I am kind of obsessed with these invitations by Felicia Murphy at Blue House Paperie. They're absolutely gorgeous, and the perfect simple greenery to accent this Christmastime wedding.

By coincidence, Julie and Heather at The Vow Hair and Makeup have been the HMUAs at my last handful of weddings, and I am seriously impressed with their ability to stick to the day's timeline and create gorgeous looks that photograph well and stay put all day. Plus, they're sweet as can be!

Catherine and Matt both got ready within walking distance of their downtown Greenville wedding, at the Courtyard Marriott right next to Greenville's Ice on Main. We were surrounded by Christmas sights and sounds the entire day!

It was a little chilly waiting on the First Look, but totally worth it, and it clearly didn't bother Catherine one bit!

I absolutely love when couples choose to do a first look! It fixes any cases of nervousness, and is pretty much the only alone time the bride and groom will get with each other all day! The riverside next to Wyche Pavilion was obviously the perfect place for this downtown Greenville wedding's first look.

Huguenot Mill Loft is such a gorgeous old building! I couldn't help myself, and had to snap a few shots from across the street when I had the chance.

Marion Reeves at Katie Williams Events did a PHENOMENAL job decorating for this downtown Greenville wedding. I am absolutely obsessed with the gorgeous garland decking out the head table, and the cake (done by a family friend!) was stunning AND delicious! Simple Stems' florals perfectly accented everything in the reception and ceremony space.

I HAVE to take a second to do a quick shoutout to the Emerald Empire Band! They had everyone - myself and my second shooter included - dancing, laughing, and having a ball for the entire reception! I hear a lot of wedding bands, but this one really went the extra mile and I'm so impressed with the skills of every member of the group!

I love a good sparkler exit, but sometimes fire and excited wedding guests aren't the best combination. Marion had the amazing idea to use a strand of outdoor lights with edison bulbs to light the couple's getaway instead, and I am such a fan! I definitely want to see more of this!
